Reviews for "Jacksepticeye Game"

I didn't find many problems with the game, my only concerns were that the flashlight would be pointed below where you were pointing, and the boss fight. It's not too bad, and I like how there's a tradeoff for not taking contact damage but you might not see his attacks coming, you just might need to add a second or two of invincibility time to make the fight more manageable.

Rixium responds:

Thanks for the review and the ideas. I agree on invincibility timer, I was worried the fight was going to be too easy, but at the same time I tested it so many times I couldn't really balance the difficulty because of my practice.

You should add the option to skip the boss intro once you've seen it the first time, it's a bit demotivating to have to watch a long intro every time you want to try again.

Rixium responds:

Haha. I am totally with you on this one.

It's nothing spectacular, not at all. But, it's a lot better than what I can do. Add a option to skip the boss, make it longer, and that flashlight part was... pretty bad. Overall, nothing special, could use some fixing. :)

Rixium responds:

It shouldn't be featured. Im actually pretty angry about it as this was just some short project I didn't care much for and it shows. I built the flashlight level last and at that point I was sick of making it.

I don't know why you think you SHOULDN'T have gotten front page.

This is really good, man. Of course bugs everywhere, but concept/art/boss stage was well done.

i wish you could drop from ledges tho..

Rixium responds:

Thanks for the nice review. Yeah, bugs everywhere, It started off pretty good for me, I'm trying to get back into programming and I was really proud of the Boss level, but after adding more, such as the hub room and the Markiplier level, everything started breaking and it got me really down when I couldn't fix things as code was EVERYWHERE. But, thankyou for the kind words, it helps me keep pushing towards my goals and I can promise my next game will be much more planned out. <3

uhmmm indy and interesting, too short, etc... good job

Rixium responds:

Thankyou! :) It was going to be longer, kinda wish I actually made it longer now..
