This is a really fun and well made old school style shooter in the vein of classics like Smash TV and the like.
I can't believe this hasn't gotten more attention because I enjoyed it quite a bit!
There are a few things that would make this title even more fun however.
I found myself hoping that the later levels would introduce more of a challenge for instance.
And perhaps have an insane, almost overwhelming amount of enemies coming at you.
I would have also liked it if the power ups lasted a little bit longer.
Last, but not least, I found the pause feature a bit cumbersome when you accidentally click outside of the screen.
Also, the resume and main menu button are a little too close to one another for my comfort.
I almost clicked main menu by mistake quite a few times trying to hurry and get back to the game after making the mistake of clicking outside of the screen :/
Other than that, I had a lot of fun playing this one, and hope to see the full game in all its glory soon.

not a bad effort, however it felt way too easy for what it is- i was never really low on health and worrying about my next move like i do in proper retro games like smash tv (which seems to have been this games inspiration) or modern retro-ish titles like binding of isaac.
i am a fan of this style of play, but i just never felt as overwhelmed as i did in the likes of smash tv or total carnage. to wit, i finished this on my first try. with binding of isaac it took me many, many goes to finish the game.
in short, you're on the right track, you just need to make it more difficult.
A lot of potential. You just need some practice.
I liked this game. It's music, sound effects, the graphics and so on. You just really had to make a rookie mistake, didn't you?
[Gameplay]
Very unbalanced! I started playing and it was too easy. I thought that it was because it was the beginning of the game and that it would get harder as I make my way trough. Well, I was wrong. You should really make a delay between the shots, or add a reload time. I often found myself standing in the corner, just waving my mouse killing everything on screen. Rookie mistake! You made the player overpowered, while some enjoy that I definitely do not. I like when a game is challenging and so do other people. If you were going for the other demographic, that's fine.
[Sound]
Alright, at least there was only one mistake here. Well, I wouldn't really call it a mistake. The character makes no noise when he's hurt, and there's not indication on the screen except the small bar in the bottom left corner. Very disorienting. I liked the music, it fits into the whole sci-fi theme.
[Addictiveness]
I wouldn't play this game again, not in this condition. The game also didn't make me feel like I wanted to progress, and believe me and I feel like playing games.
[Graphics]
Not very detailed and they shouldn't be, it's a retro-theme after all! But, personally, I like these graphics. And so do a majority of these players. I say that you stick with them, it'll attract more players. It's your choice, though.
[Story]
It wasn't very informative, I think that you should detail it a little more. I liked the idea, though.
[Depth]
There isn't much in this game, a few enemies and repetetive bosses. You need to add more content, A.S.A.P. (And yes, I see that you are going to add quests and such.
[Difficuly]
The game is very easy, as I've mentioned before. It's not very appealing, in my opinion.
[Overall]
An average game, not something that I would suddenly get the urge to play. Also, you have some grammar mistakes in the game, I recommend you fix those.
