Reviews for "One World"

I hate to be harsh but... this really isn't fun at all. The only options that do anything are land, humans, plants, and temples, but nobody's going to stick around long enough for the last one. Besides that it's all useless button clicking. Once you get full green land mass with a couple brown and red blobs strewn about you're done. The graphics don't look good, they're just rough and blocky on a strange looking water texture. It needs a shift click feature to buy a hundred because I'm not willing to give myself carpal tunnel by clicking abou t90,000 times (assuming the max is 9,999), plus it's boring, and as I mentioned 6/9 options have absolutely no effect.

There needs to be something that shows your people, animals, and city up close. Right now it's just a boring planet spinning in a circle no matter how close you zoom in...

The music is okay. And the idea is nice. But this just... it needs a lot of work before it can be considered fun.

I don't know what this game was, but it was about growing a tree from a little speck. It takes like three hours but I had fun the whole time. You could click dots in the dirt to get money, and one type of dirt you bought had a minigame for even more money. And every little upgrade you bought actually either had an impact or was just aesthetic. Also you only had to buy an upgrade once, not five million times. If you can find it then maybe take a few tips from it to make this better...

A parsec is a unit of distance, not a unit of time.

xyzzygames responds:

That's the joke. Because "spirit per sec."

It's pretty cool, but I agree. I can't turn it the way I want it to, and I also don't really understand what the spirit boost button is for if I can't use it. It won't boost my spirit cells. Bleh.

gets really old, really fast. I usually like games where you upgrade things, but if anything this is an idler. You let it sit for long enough, and you could get the temple right away. it would definitely be a much better game if there was any actual change going on on the planet (perhaps green things up a bit when you get more and more plants, and the more humans appear, the atmosphere is "diminished" or something. Something to add to the game, which makes it some sort of attention keeper.)
