you need to work on your borders and it was really annoying on the eel level when it took 5 tries to even touch the bottom because it kept just appearing under me.

I'll be real with you, I did very much enjoy this game. It's clear to me it has a lot of potential. But it needs some work. Some more animations for the creature, perhaps some more mechanics for the boss, definitely a little longer, perhaps more music and sound effects. There is nothing that stands out to me in this game as needing work, only addition. Still, very well done.
Not a bad game, but not good, either. Everything works as it should but it's too easy and too short, even for a Ludum Dare game. Over in about two minutes without even the challenge of a high score or anything. It's also odd that the signs say "Beware" and yet they feature the face of the guardian creature you have to find to save you. Why should you beware or otherwise fear it?

You are absolutely right. On the original version the game would send you back to the begining everytime you die, but player find that a bit unfair. Now it have checkpoint on every level but it seems to easy. I think I have to find a better way to balance difficulty. Any tips?
