Oh man, I love lighthearted stuff like this. This was definitely fun to watch, reminding me a lot of some older cartoons. First off, the music was a great touch, as it really fit the frantic and slow movements of both the artist and the cat. It did sound a bit grainy, but that's not really a bad thing since it does fit with the sounds of the pencil and paper. Secondly, while the concept itself may not be the most original, as other cartoons have done similar things (like The Pink Panther), the way you handled it was what really mattered. Thirdly, the art style itself was not too complex, but, as I said before, the way you handled it definitely made up for it. Your animation is expressive and more or less fluid, undermining the need for more polygons. To wrap things up, all I really need to say is that you did a great job!
