I felt the sadness but it definitely shows you loved him a lot, R.I.P Dad :(
Even though the animation's so simple and short, the sadness is so easily perceptable! I'm surprised it works so well at conveying the intented emotion. The way the characters are drawn is symbolic in a way, like silhouettes of their former selves. Beautiful work!
