its ok but its a little too hard to aim. just make the bullets go straight.

So... isn't the point of a gamejam to create a new game and art assets to challenge yourself and grow as a developer/artist?

I worked on a platformer/shooter game engine a while ago but it was scrapped and resurrected for this jam. I worked more on Gun Peeps during the period of the jam for much, much longer than I did with the initial sandbox engine. Literally all the levels and content were created from the ground up, as well as most of the art assets and code, and so on. I assure you and every participant of the jam that this game didn't exist before the game jam started. Only a skeleton of a shooter.
I took liberties in reusing the engine because the rules for this jam didn't mentioned if we could or couldn't re-use code or art assets, which is something a lot of jams allow, but I understand why this can be seen as unfair.
If the judges see this as a problem I can provide some evidence to defend my submission, but if that won't suffice, I'm happy to withdraw from the jam.

good game. although here is sort of a cheat, the slash (F button) range is longer than the thickness of the wall, so quite a number of enemies can be killed simply by slashing through the wall.

I am under the school of thought that some bugs can be left for the player to decide weather to exploit or not.
I don't really think it's worth fixing. Mostly because I don't know a good way to do it, but it's one of the bugs that doesn't necessarily interfere negatively with the game experience. Use it as you wish.
game never bothers to load. I get this weird keyboard in the corner that blocks the the title screen and nothing happens.

Quite strange. I suggest updating your browser, or trying the game in a different browser, preferably Chrome or FireFox, as that's what the game was tested in.
