"saved" has a great religious meaning which is very important and graphics are flat except the shadows which are realist as heck

This one... The problem with it is that the people needing saving are WAY to numerous right off the bat. I'd suggest taking this down and tweeking that. Maybe have just a few dark souls come at the player at first and slowly and then have them them come in faster and more numerous as the levels progress. Also, I'd recommend lowering the number of souls that need saving to... Lets say 10 for the first level and have it increase from there.

Thanks for the feedback. I updated the first stage so that it is slightly easier with less people to save and slower respawn times. I hope it feels a little better.
