Reviews for "Being-Time"

The gameplay felt repetitive in which you are forced to open every door of every room. It's lucky the game is short enough that I was willing to finish the game.

I know that there are a lot of people that are high on this submission, but sadly, I'm not one of them.

Music- Music was nice here; you've got that going for you.
Gameplay- The time only moves when you move concept is neat. I've seen it done before, but it's still a good mechanic. The shadow clones of death is also a nice touch, especially since they move exactly like you do. This part isn't terribly unique, but it works well with the stop movement.
Game Length- This game is pretty short. It's only got a few levels (less than 10?) and they're all one screen in length.
Difficulty- There is none. You can easily manipulate time by moving back and forth or jumping. This lengthens time enough to open doors and it keeps your clones far away from you.
Concept- Your description talks about the theme of regret, but that isn't really explored much here. You have background allusions to a leaf falling, a woman crying, and a parting. Nothing else is really explained, shown, or hashed out.

Overall, this is a quick game that has a fairly unique mechanic. However, it's short, easy, and the themes aren't hashed out enough to warrant high marks.

Sure, the graphics are great, but it's too hard. I tried the wall jump level half a dozen times before deciding I had better things to do with my time.

This is two steps back with better graphics but shorter gameplay.
