This was pretty cool, indeed.

The pixel graphics are nice, and the music is cool, although I believe it doesn't fit the theme of the game very well.

I quite like the mechanics of the game, where we need to absorb fragments in order to acquire higher powers, and the fragments are the building blocks of different objects found in the way. The shrine battle was nice, but beating it without dying is close to impossible. The full power state lasts too short, since you spend fragments whenever you shoot.

Short, but fun game.

Controls- It controls pretty well. You do have the tendencies of getting stuck on walls, however.
Gameplay- It's short, but satisfying. There is only one boss to face with several different stages of said boss. Short, but beating it is a little challenging, but rewarding. The extreme forgiveness in lives is nice (essentially infinite lives, but need to refuel your character).

It's a short game, but fun to play.
(Yes, I did find the alternate ending). :)

A good concept, a short game with an interesting twist on leveling up through the environment. A simplistic art style and music choice, not necessarily a bad thing. I got quite a bit of lag from this game which is unusual considering the graphics? Maybe you could add a simple narrative to the game, give me a reason to destroy the shrine. I see from the info the game was made in 48 hours, with that in mind this is an excellent effort, maybe just give us a bit more.
