This is amazing. Absolutely amazing. It's a Megaman clone but a good one. I'm really impressed. You have really managed to catch the feeling with all of controls, graphics and music.
There's one thing though. Since you are copying Megaman you've set the standard to be compared with. As you probably are aware of, you are nowhere near. :)
I don't wanna insult you, cause the work you have done is marvelous. It's extremely impressive, but when playing I can't avoid comparing all the time, making it hard to judge the game on its own. You have really managed to make the music sound like Megaman. If i heard these tunes on their own my immediate thought would be "is there a Megaman game I have not played", but they are not as good as the original. It's hard to pinpoint what it is though.
Quite often I get irritated because some things differ to much from Megaman. One can argue about this, but I think some of those things should be fixed. One of those is that the main character does not pause when picking up a power up, and make the fill up take more time.
I'm using this one while playing http://www.coolstuff.se/Retro-NES-USB-kontroll?gclid=CPm4rc-k_70CFUQGcwodGUUAcA
Bug!
A quite annoying thing is that when i hold left or right when entering a new screen I have to release the button to continue moving.
All in all. Great work!
