I didn't understand anything. After finding several keys and brutforcing the right order for the locks the game suddenly ended. Is that all?

Seriously what is the point to this game?! Just to find keys and click anything?? Cause that what I did to win. I love the art, music, and style overall...just confused as to the point of it all. Besides to show off, all and all needs more depth...
