As Saint said, it's promising. The core game is pretty decent, if a little unoriginal. The "Hero" is fairly boring, and could easily be toned up alittle in terms of originality and character by having cut scenes between bosses.
The game itself was fairly easy, and I managed to beat it in 15 rounds, total. The final boss, especially, was far easier than expected, once you get the pattern of spikes down. Suggest upgrading the beetle minions for that fight again, specifically granting them slight homing after they enter the screen.

The mouse controls don't work very well. The game feels a litle stale, it feels like my character isn't really damaging the monster; my action seem to have no consecuence. This is of course an effect in the lack of character animation.
Eh, nothing special/catches my attention, played the first level and got bored, just like all those games were you fight, upgrade, fight again. The art and programming (should feel more natural/fluid) could use some work.
Its okay. Fun in the start. Gets boring after trying a couple of times. :)
