The game doesn't tell you what you need in order to buy an upgrade. It says c50, I have 150 cookies, I click 2, nothing happens. Tell your players what they need when they need it. That's just basic game design 101.

So we have a sub-par clone of cookie clicker, no ability to deviate from the per-ordained build order and no explanation of what that required build order actually is. The author didn't even bother to name it something original.

romdtb needs to learn a thing or two from Cosmic Clicks, Don't Move, or even Idle Farmer. There have been much better games in the genre featured here on Newgrounds in the past month, and this game isn't even as good as Cookie Clicker despite ripping off everything in it.

And finally, saying "it's for a game jam, guys" is no excuse. Stop saying it like it's some kind of justification. A game made for a game jam still needs to be fun, and a game made for a game jam still needs to be novel. This game is neither. It makes Stencyl look bad in comparison to HTML5, a free language, because that's what ACTUAL Cookie Clicker runs on.

I award you no points. And I can't imagine the judges reacting any differently.

Frankly, I got really bored. It takes forever to get enough money for anything really for a few lousy bucks. At least it wasn't a complete loss

For everyone downvoting this because it's a remake of cookie clicker, please note he says it in the Author's Comments. It's really a 3 to 3.5 rank game, but I'll give it 5 stars because everyone's downvoting it for being a 'copycat'.

A little audio and slightly higher effects would boost quality.

i made a huge update to it! game totaly changed! and i lost the notion of cookie clicker! will have same engine with clickers and upgrades! just more awsome! and actually will have just the thing from cookie clicker as you click a thing and creates a thing but the rest changes! and it will be more time killer! and also you will need always to click not as in cookie clicker where you buy auto clickers and forget about it!

P.S this game its just for competition ! and i made my point already! 6 k views and go`s upper in just 2 days! other have 10 k made in 2 months! so if its that bad as they say! why i keep getting views?!:)) yea... this game it will have only this form! the update of it ! or the new game to say like that will be posted as new! and wont upload it to newgrounds! cause it will stay front page for months! and will kill most of haters! :) i`m a mercyfull guy! >:) thanks for review! i wont fix a thing though to this version! new version new submission keep in touch ! :)

For the game that it is, its not bad. I have played a lot of the "clicker" games on Newgrounds, and this one ranks right above the middle. My only complaint, is that the income becomes a serious limiting factor as it does not scale as well as the cookie generating upgrades. All it does is drag the game out and make it slightly more annoying. However, the inclusion of a second system connected to the first is very good. It made it different, and enjoyable enough to play it through. Good job!

I give it 3/5 as a clicker, a 4/5 for ingenuity, a 2/5 for play-ability, totaling up to a 3/5 stars for you!
