Reviews for "Dino Shift 2"

nice idea.

Please keep in mind that not everyone knows how to switch his keyboard layout to englisch (I am german, I do know how to do so, but others dont). This results in having "z" and "y" reverted, so it actually is "yxc" instead of "zxc". Maybe let people simply use z with the same function as y, this would fix the problem in this game for all german users ;)

Thumper427 has a point because I had the same problems. It's a good game, but it almost seems like it's rigged. For example, when attempting to jump on a moving square that happens to be above or below other moving squares, there seems to be about a 50% chance that you'll get crushed by another moving block even if you weren't close to a wall. It also would have been convenient if the color buttons were the same as in the previous game (z for pink, x for green, c for blue). I'm not trying to be mean, but please don't assume everyone else did fine because I looked through the past reviews and other people pointed out similar problems.

The controls are completely customizable if they aren't to your liking.

This is really quite horrible, such potential and it's all lost due to sliding movement and glitchy jumping where a full jump is not achieved a lot of the time, it really did absolutely ruin what could be a good cute little game but it became frustrating and actually made me quite angry because it's now simply a game of luck, 9 times out of 10 it won't reach a block, will get pushed off, fall off or slide off, blocks also sometimes randomly halt the fluidity of the jump and it's like hitting a brick wall, it'll drop you, usually and conveniently into a pit of spikes.

"This game is bad because I suck at it" - you

Everyone else did fine.
