Reviews for "Think Up"

Too generic.

Honestly, I felt that this was just another canned stencyl platformer. As mentioned in many previous comments, the controls are far too slippery. The bat speed is understandable, since the impossible to pass bats must be defeated by examining your surroundings. The music was decent for the type of game, however the recycled Minecraft sound effects were really unnecessary. The lava and fire do not need sound effects. The only sounds in the library should be the music, the jumping/landing sound, and the selection tone. Respawning is another issue, since you respawn to the last checkpoint closest to you, rather than the last one you reached.

Overall, I didn't find this game to be very interesting or fresh.

Better luck next time.

controls were extremely touchy

Interesting idea, but it needs some work. My main concern, and the reason why I gave up early, is the fact of if you screw up and push one of those blocks that you need to jump on to the wrong area, you are stuck and have to refresh the page and start all over.

The chckpoints are based on death point rather than respawng you back up if you fall. You're very likely to fall down when you die because your movements continue and I can't thik that fast.

For a game that doesn't seem to have that much going on, it is quite difficult. I REALLY don't mean to sound whiny, but it does seem too difficult. It's mostly because you can't go back and reset things. On the first part, if you kill the bat, you have to reset the whole game just so you can get past it! It's just too easy to die.

Of course, everything gets better with practice. The fire is easily the hardest thing in the game. I guess I will praise you for having some unique designs. You just don't expect the game to be this hard. The title, which I just now noticed, makes perfect sense.
