I've been animating since august 2009 :)
Thanx!
pretty good stick movie!
well, it might be a stick movie, but i always enjoyed those, and this one is a VERY good stick movie.
it had nice design, nice flow, and a good pace at both the walking part, and the fighting part.
you had a very fluid motion in the characters, and i loved the 3-D work behind them, the background.
(very clever).
i also enjoyed the humour in this, and how the characters were talking to eachother, and even made jokes about eachother or about the fight.
FINALLY, a stick fighting movie with a bit of humour in it!
its a breath of fresh air, in a known genre.
this humour was a great addition, and the fact that you made characters with unique traits, and attacks.
i liked the dragon attacks of blazer, and his energy sword, while i enjoyed oxobs ultimate strengh, and high resistances, and his high-bolt attacks.
oxob was my favorite character in this.
other thing, i also liked the pace in this.
what FPS did you used for this? 30? it was a great pace.
the sticks also had nice design on them, it sorta reminded me of killer-samus (or sam green).
good movie, i enjoyed it alot.
keep making flash! you're good.
Thanx for the review! And yes the framerate is 30fps :)
Woa sick moves bro. I got a question though. Did you animate the background or the characters first? I'm curious on the process here.
It was realy dependant on what was happening in the animation. Sometimes I animated ahead with the stickfigures, and other times I had to animate the background first as the foot placement had to be synched with the floor.
The 3D animation was astounding. Normally I am used to 2D, but 3D! WHAT! So sick and the combo moves were legit. Good job.
Nice
