this is really nice! I had some trouble when I tried to make an account too, but I just reloaded the page after I logged in to newgrounds and it worked instantly :3

Yeah newgrounds auto logs you in

I'm really curious about the percentage of votes that people chose. It probably makes more sense to show statistics after a decision has been made. And maybe, not limit choices to just two possibilities. Multiple once.... that truly gauge the different personalities of the voters. One option would appeal more to calm and collected personalities. Other's choices that voters would prefer more action. Play it true and straight, or more sly and sneaky.... Not only that, the author could harness the creative potential of his audience. Choices that determine the characteristics and attributes of the protagonist, his or her's potential love interest, nemesis, or whatever. Strengths, weakness, weapons... The authors could play this like a dungeon master of a D&D gaming session. But the author has control over the choices that voters have. I'd like to see more creative and interesting choices. And if votes are close to 50/50 why not split the storyline as the author see fit. Make it into a 'story tree' that encompasses all the enticing possibilities. Even do 'crossover' from 'alternate universes' from two popular story branches if it gets epic enough. That's my two cent. I'm sure my suggestion earns me an extra 1 percent or 2...

Evil-Dog responds:

Nope hehe

The ideas are well strung together. You have a concept that works. The stories themselves are well written like novels, and the story cycle is rather unique. This layout ends up leaving people desiring more which gives them a reason to come back especially since the stories are being updated now and then. It also gives the author's downtime to plan ahead or simply take a break. Navigation offers different options, and are simple to use. This will not deduct any points from the overall score, but my only gripe is the inability to ever view the other possible outcomes. You know, I'm interested how the other choices would've played out. Although not much of an actual game in itself, the interactivity would make it seem like one. It sort of reminds me of a 'CYOA' type of book, except it's influenced by majority voting. I also see that there's a Newgrounds-like voting power mechanic in there which I have no problems with.

Otherwise all I have left to say is, it's a great submission. I can't wait to see what else is in store in the next update.

Evil-Dog responds:

Awesome glad you like the stories and all. I understand you'd like to see the other paths, but since the authors are writing the stories as the decisions are made, that's impossible, or would be an unreasonable workload :) Unlike CYOA stories, there are no death/failure paths, I would rather compare it to a D&D game with a good DM :)

hey dude this is a pretty cool thing you have going here i'm an artist and i have a few stories in mind do you reckon you could let me have my story published on your game

Evil-Dog responds:

PM me about it, we'll talk :)

Amazing work Evil-Dog. One of the best collabs on Newgrounds.
