PKM in burst shots or Remington (if you have good aim) and M79 every time it's loaded... invincible. Having 6 survivors with shooting attribute as 3 helps a bit too. =P
notderper clearly didn't play the game, crossbow is the slowest and crappiest weapon! Reload time is as slow as the M79, but fires one toothpick vs area-dmg explosive from grenade launcher. Anyone relying solely on the crossbow will die.
One gripe, wish the guns with a scope had an actual scope feature. Attempting to aim by looking only at the half centimeter circle with a pixel-sized red dot is very difficult. This feature would certainly add to the game for any players who enjoy sniping.
To new players: Anti-personnel Mines (proximity explosives) are worthless, don't waste your time on them... literally, pun intended. =)

I like this game alot, but sometimes i play it and i get lucky with weapons and people, then other times i get screwed, with search parties always dying and finding no loots
A very nice shooter right here. I like how you have to scavenge, get more survivors, and shoot zombies. I have played this game many times before, but now is the time I review this. I think that games like these are great, so I might be very biased. Anyways, good game.
