Pretty strange... but if you want the light effects to be more convincing then use transparent gradients and effects on the character.
More sound needed, and the music you had was irritating.

And Yoko Kanno's Santi-u really brought out a good atmosphere for it.

Would've been better if you could've made it a bit longer (although I guess the movie is as long as Santi-u is).

I like the drawings, at first i thought it was crap but it turn out to be rather good. The pie was so unexpected and funny!!!!
