Reviews for "Papa's Pastaria"

A good game plus it's very original. (I've certainly never played a game like this one.)

Like the previous reviewer, I'd like to see a way to speed up time as when you are cooking for your last customers you are literally sitting and watching water boil. I'd also like a clickable ingredient help available to remind you of proper topping placement because I missed how to place five and seven items, and what do you do when you have two toppings with the same number of items -- place one on top of the other or space them out?

It would be nice if one of the prizes (perhaps the third ticket you earn in a day) was for either current holiday or forthcoming holiday so you can at least have a few clothes/decorations that match a given week's theme without having to play the game for several game weeks. Also, the clothes items other than just the shirt and pants should be themed to make it more difficult to get a complete matching set with some kind of corresponding bonus for a completely co-ordinated outfit.

I'm not even through Day 1 and I've learnt that the moral is to look before you leap, aka get your stuff together before you do something. Great game though, already, because I love each and every game.

Fun game! really enjoy playing your games.

This is my first review of a Papa Louie game even though I've been playing them for years. In this game, you have to prepare specific pasta dishes from your customers' orders and have them judge you based on how well you did. Some pastas and toppings are seasonal, which adds variety. The biggest challenge was putting the toppings in the correct order as it seems there were specific patterns, making it very hard sometimes to figure them out. Of course that's the point of the game. I must warn that this game is long- it took me 115 levels to finally unlock Papa Louie but the delightful ending makes it worth it (I wouldn't spoil it for you). Getting the timers is a must since some want their pastas al dente rather than well cooked. I do question some of the toppings (pickled eggs?), the unnecessary double-ordering and lack of good sides. I imagine that at least some of the girls would've appreciated not having extra carbs. Overall, a better than average but not quite excellent game.

Haven't played a Papa Louie game for a long time, i'm glad I can play it again! Anyways, the graphics are still stunning, loved the gameplay. The problem is that it's very hard compared to the other games, still good though.
