Animation is well done,

voice fits perfectly for the intended effect,

creative,

felt a bit too long (but I don't know the song that it was a parody of.)

Being a brony, I figured (or some other people figured) that I would likely be offended by something that has a preview picture like that on the frontpage. Quite the opposite, actually. The nice animation and voice acting worked well in this context, points I can't argue against. I liked it for being something I perceive as a funny criticism to current, silly, hating trends (reinforced by the links provided after the video.) Something about satire I guess, but I can't really assume that it wasn't hating bronies and otakus or not.

Either way, good work deserves its praise. As far as opinions go, I was smiling for the majority of it.

Well, thanks to this flash, I'll never misinterpret that word again. Always thought it was 'daikimura' -- don't know why. Maybe I'm selectively dyslexic...

Anyway, catchy-as-hell tune and lyrics, hilariously tweaked and re-purposed into a colorful, irreverent parody animation that has a sort of...classic Ren & Stimpy flavor to it. The chorus and ad-libs also have a distinct resonance of 'Dr. Elmo' Shropshire. (Your Mileage May Vary but I mean it as only the most shining compliment!)

Granted, bronies and/or adult male fans of young girl anime are not the most difficult targets to hit, and both YouTube and Newgrounds are littered with Take Thats at 'hentai' and 'cloppers'. Still, this particular smash-up provides a unique and rewatchable twist on the subject. And it has quite a few noticeable references and shoutouts to elements from other pieces and the show in question itself, i.e. The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Scootalo's idolizing of Rainbow Dash. Well frakking done, my friend.

That Daily Feature and Weekly 5th are well-deserved in my opinion. Even if you don't snag any more trophies, here's hoping this reaches many more people and gets all the incredulous ROFLs it aims for.

Best of luck with your future endeavors! Though if this is any indication, you won't need much. Again, TL;DR: many, many kudos on Cuthwald's Yuletide '13 Opus.

funny how something so innocent as a My Little Pony can be twisted and perverted when it comes to certain minds. its making my favorites list as the one song i'll be able to enjoy during shitmas time as well as the rest of the year xD
