The joke explained:
A.) She's not saying puppies, she's poorly pronouncing the word 'poppies' as the flower.
B.) The final line is "Reptiles are backwards" referring to the complaint about the flowers being too girly.
So it's not much of a joke. Perhaps a slight anecdote, some mild humor, but this is all it is. Not the artists best work, but there is always an element of charm with these clips.

Still good animation, like the rest of your work. Although yeah, I don't get the thing at the end. "Reptiles are backwards"? Maybe in reference to the fact that reptiles are cold blooded? Not sure what that has to do with having poppies on a coat. Anyway, keep up the good work, looking forward to the next one!

Cute but completely not worth watching. Doesn't help that each reply by the fox has an awkward pause before it without any expression on her face to match it. She's just staring blankly at a wall for 2 seconds before she replies the first time, and I honestly don't know why. Was she frustrated? Confused? Annoyed? I don't know because there's nothing to show it. Same with her second reply. Is she saying "Reptiles are backwards" as an answer to the question, or just saying it to herself? She has this hushed embarrassed tone, and she's just staring blankly at the coat, instead of looking at the character.
Forgive me for being blunt, but I doubt this is less a "joke" and more of someone saying something observant that is only recognizable as a "joke" to someone with a complete knowledge of the characters/world. If this was just to test equipment, then fine, but if you're going to try and be funny I'd recommend working on your timing and learning how to make your "straight man" in your joke be more expressive in their face, as that's almost completely where the reaction needs to be for those kinds of jokes to work.
I couldn't make out what Kitty said at the end. I think it was "reptiles are backwards". So she's saying Calamity is stupid? I usually love your work, but this one I don't really get :S
