1 is my vote.
The eyes in 1 have a lot more intensity and I think that fits the depicted motion of the character a bit better than the eyes in 2. The eyes in 2 look a bit more calm suggesting it's a lazy or unenthusiastic movement.
The thing about the eyes in 1 is that the pupils are much smaller/tighter and the "irides" (which is evidently the medical plural for "iris") are also smaller which in turn shows more of the scleras (the white parts). Now, the pupils being constricted doesn't really lend itself to "excitement" so much as it's just creating a very eye-catching contrast between them and the irides. On the other hand, the irides being smaller allowing more of the scleras to show makes it seem like the eyelids are open wider, as though the character is excited or surprised. I think this better fits the acrobatic pose/movement you've put the character in.
A suggestion!: If you'd like, experiment with making only the pupils in 1 a little bit larger and see if you like the effect. Dilated pupils are a natural sign of high brain activity or an arousal of attention. Try to keep that same high contrast that you already have by keeping the edge of the pupil clear and defined. Like I said, it's very eye-catching!
