Everyone already gave an explanation for Bart/Milhouse/Lisa/Maggie/Skinner. And yet no one has one for Krusty. In my honest opinion here, maybe Krusty's death is a foreshadowing to the "famous death" that's suppose to happen in the next season of the simpsons. You know, the (popular) character that's going to be killed off and no one knows who it is. Where is the randomness of Krusty dieing here, is his pick for the character that gets killed off.
That was too deep for 7 o'clock in the morning, that's for sure! But I liked it!
