Reviews for "A Girl In A Room Collab"

Although the "third" participation is short and hardly deals with the egg, the first two both provide a good (albeit short) thrill. What I personally dislike on this submission is how you used the white room. Aside from putting the girl there and delivering the egg it is scarcely used. I've read the description before I started the video and my imagination already lead me into all sorts of emptiness/vastness scenarios where the protagonist is driven into madness by the sheer lack of communication, or turning reality inside out which is induced by closely observing the color of the egg. I know it's a bit much to ask for that in submissions for a collaboration work. I like it.
Happy Halloween

ReklessCreati0n responds:

That type of atmosphere was my original intention, but due to the Halloween deadline I didn't get to do as much as that as I had wanted to. With only 2 people contributing to the animation/story. It was a little taxing for a short deadline. The next one will deal more with the psychological issues of being in solitude.

I liked the first litte bit, I thought it was going to be cognitive but then it deteriorates and my brain is just full of what after that. I give you half a score because I enjoyed it. But the non-cognitive parts kinda ruined it for me.

Good idea but mediocre execution.
But for a Halloween submission not bad, it had me weirded out.

I really didn't understand it or enjoy watching it, I love creepy stuff and murder but this was a dissapointment

I really like the concept of this collab, but the content itself really does fall flat. The first (and main) problem with it is the pacing. This moves waaaay too slowly! I'm not sure if that was the point behind the 'suspense/horror' theme, but it didn't really work for me. The skits themselves were a little slow paced as well, but again that may have been to add to the suspense.

If you do make another one (and you should because the idea is pretty cool) focus on having it move a bit faster and come up with some really wacky scenarios. Maybe make a post in the forums and try and get a team together to help you with it :>.
