Reviews for "Bit Battles"

Pretty short game but is addicting, the music is catchy and taunt you to keep going,

pros: its an awesome concept that should be expanded upon greatly! also the music is very lovely and i would love to hear more of it.

cons: contrary to what hedning said both knights and wizards are extremely overpowered units. i played the game through 3 times and found that i could beat the final boss in a single run with eather one of them without using a single bomb. spearmen seem right on but both of these units could use a bit of a nerfing (my opinion)

suggestion: shots from allied wizards shouldnt go through all enemies but instead deal damage to the first one they hit (possibly one shot kill?) that and/or make their ability cost more to activate.
as for knights maybe kill the knockback with their special as i found myself tossing enemies half way across the field with a single charge.
an alternate fix overall would be to make it so that units dont despawn when they get knocked into the line of the field. just make them charge right back in.

anyways its a realy fun game but those things were kinda game breaking for me. still this is just my two cents so if everyone else feels its fine then you can just ignore me =P. gonna go take a look at the rest of your stuff!

Cool game, finished it in half an hour or so. I only upgraded push and defense on the soldiers, which seemed to work out well.

It was great and very fun but I think there should be an infinite mode or a mode where you can redo it with your same levels and have the enemies progressively harder.

Nice, short game. Boss was a fun challenge. Graphics and music worked well together. It's quite entertaining to make the different strategies work. (i.e. build a massive defense army before a great bomb-assisted push, pushy spear wall with a tight centre, line of attack mages etc) I'm sure there's a good bit of replay value there.

One bit of feedback: while it's good to not present players with giant walls of text of instructions, this game could have benefited from tooltips to help the player better understand the strengths of each unit type.

Great overall!
