Great game. 5 stars. But you only get half that score for only giving us half a game. Keep demos off of newgrounds.

I enjoyed the gameplay and really liked the story. However there were many typos throughout the entire game that I had noticed, not to be a grammar nazi. I also thought paying 14.99 for this game was way higher than I'd ever pay for a game of this quality. I think having to unlock characters by beating bosses would be better than having to get premium to do so. Maybe have the bosses as the premium unlock characters. Most anyone who comes on Newgrounds is here to play free games though. I think it'd be a good idea to set up a donation button so people could donate a dollar or however much they wanted to your game, but keep in mind to list the improvements/new features the game will be adding with that money they donate to give them something to look forward to. Overall I found it was challenging as you progressed through the game and very entertaining. It's a fun game, but it's not quite ready for people to be paying 14.99 for it. Maybe bring it down to 4.99 and more people would cave into buying it. If that were the price I might have. Good luck with your game and can't wait to play a sequal.
