There really needs to be a way to mute the sound.

I see you've failed to notice the mute button. Its in the BGM select menu, lowest part of the HUD. It says 'mute' very clearly.

Or, do I need to install a large neon sign that says "THIS BUTTON MUTES ALL SOUND"?
