Not too bad of an animation. Not very funny or particularly interesting. But it was well made.
I almost didn't give it a chance though to be honest. A 30 second ad is asking a little much for a passing eye candy website like NewGrounds. Hell, even if an ad does come up you can usually skip it after a second or two.
So, major fail on your attempts to monetize your "homage to my younger self." as it just takes away from any joy i'd wanna take from the flash and fills me with some bad vibes before I even get to the point of thinking of judging you.
At least become a SOMEBODY before you demand people must sit through a poorly constructed advertisement to watch a mediocre short. Pro tip, if you insert an ad that's about half as long as your video, you are doing parts of it all wrong.

Sorry, but I was not aware advertisements were on for this particular video. Truthfully, I don't know how to control them even though I do have them enabled. I thought they only worked for SWF animations, but I'm afraid I'm wrong.
I wish I would have made the description a little clear instead of saying "homage to my younger self". Sounds arrogant. What I meant by that was I would have been excited to have made a cartoon at that age when I was drawing these little critters constantly in high school, since people enjoyed the creatures I drew.
Nonetheless, I appreciate the advice, regardless if it is harsh or not. I will try to do better in the future. Thanks for watching!
