Reviews for "Rise"

It lacks a HUGE amount of detail.
I would really like to know what my hit chance is, because I've missed 17 times in a row. As a ninja.

It's far too simple.

It was kinda fun, the CEO is very easy though cause when you have like 6 or more Big health potions you can just heal whenever you are low and kill off his measly 100 health points really quickly. Hes just like killing 2 test subjects really.

The ladies were really tough to get to the top, especially the thief. Maybe if you increased all the base numbers, the dice rolls wouldn't be so lopsided. Sorry you didn't have any sponsorship with this game- seems made for replay value! A nice bonus would've been a medal for getting all those characters up there!

There's definitely a learning curve with being able to finish this game.... hoarding all the items for the boss battle seems essential to win, as does the opportunity to level up stats (where's that big dude when you need him?) Notable improvements: varied sound effects, varied storylines for completion, more random elements (okay, I figured out holograms will ALWAYS lead you astray; the food can variable was nice).

This game is definitely worth cleaning up and adding more elements to. Also having checkpoints, would lessen getting to the end, only having no way to beat the final boss... that was evident with the ladies, since their stats have to deal with an atypical enemy/boss. The thief's smoke screen doesn't work at all on the CEO! Hope you see my review dude!!

I wonder if the dev team understands the concept of percentages. I ran a test after an irritating first play through, out of 143 attacks that had a 50% chance of hitting, 19 of them hit. Adjust your sights and CM!

Aside from that the game was repetitive but entertaining. A bit of touching up maybe jazz up the combat a bit and this could be fun, for the time being, the chance to hit thing irritated me to no end.

Really fun game, but the RNG sucks. I end up passing 30 shops when I don't have any money and only encounter enemies when I want to spend it. At least provide some sort of choice where you can actually buy stuff when you want. Stats I feel are still unbalanced, I notice absolutely no change in my damage when I train strength, and dodge only goes so far for characters like thief and monk. Regardless, excellent job and I can't wait to see what you make next.
