Reviews for "I'm Scared"

This is kind of cute, and now that I've read the description I understand why it is so short. Actually, you might have the start of a pretty decent game here. My only problem is my poor little guy was so top-heavy he would periodically tip over onto his head or side. The game still works, I was able to finish the levels anyway, it just looks strange...

Also I would reconsider the title. It's not exactly spooky. Eerie, maybe, but not spooky.

Thank you! I really appreciate the nice comment! I purposely made him spin to make it a little more interesting, I was sort of trying to show off the physics engine I took most of the time on.

There isn't a whole lot going for this game. I really liked the in-game soundtrack, but that was about it. In all fairness, the dark nature of the game's user interface went well with the enigmatic vibe that the developer was shooting for, which was cool. However, there is a lot of leeway to mess with the audience's head when you take that approach, which was not done at all. One of the keywords used to describe this game was "Creepy," but a soundtrack and gray-scale interface didn't really do the trick of making it "Creepy". The developer might consider adding creepy sword arms that jab from the darkness that the audience has to dodge as you traverse the obstacles of each level-- which might add a nice element of surprise as well. The game itself was too short to even be worth the time to play and not much of a challenge. The game was finished after a few short levels that took a total time span of roughly 5 minutes to complete. The developer might consider adding more levels with increasing difficulty. I didn't dig that the character spun around like crazy at times when you jumped-- mainly because there was no point to it as far as I could tell. It didn't make the game more difficult, just annoying. Either make a point for the spinning, or consider taking it out. Also, sometimes I would fall through the ground and other times I wouldn't, which was weird. All in all, I would say that a fair but low rating for this game is one star.

Good game. Could be longer. I loved the physics and the music.
