Reviews for "Lumberjack Loveshack"

Loved the animation the story the song. Max it up people.

Wow! Can't wait for part two and three, and four. While the song wasn't my favorite ever it really did fit with the animation amazingly well. As for the animation style it seems like much of it was inspired by The Adventures of Prince Achmed (that's a 1920s German film that anyone who loves animation should check out - they usually show it on TCM once or twice a year).

Minus the 1/2 star because I think a work like this would almost have been better served by simply having the music without any vocals.

But anyway, great job, I'm going to watch it for a third time and that'll be enough for tonight. I'm really curious to see where this story is headed.

Re:Gamebalance

He didnt do it, because he wanted to protect what he created. When you spend enough time building something, and its such complicated thing like this wolf that can think, and like you as much as you like him, you dont want to put it into danger. When you have strong enough relationship with something its normal human behaviour to protect it, so you wount loose it. And when you are mad scientist living alone, fearing for your life all day long, and spending all your time to create yourself a partner, and suddenly, you re not alone anymore, like hell you wount put it into danger. Its the same thing as with children. It doesnt matter how strong or something it is. You just cant stand a thought of putting it into danger. When people get sentimental they dont act with logic.

What's wrong with the man? He can make a robo-dog while he seems to be so dumb? That can't be in real. 2 robots crash through the wall to him, having weapons ready to shred and he just come on them? Why not put a robo-dog in front of himself? This is over stupid. I turned off.

The plot of this is very good. It is. My biggest problem though with this is the character animation, as some parts felt jankey like when the robots were twitching for example. Proportion also, really bugged me, I.E. The Wolf's head was a bit small and its neck was far to long, and how it all felt like it was done with a baseline black with what looks like a pen tool. Baseline Gradients too.
To put it simply, great plot and all that, more work on the animation / drawing in general.
I do like this otherwise.
