What I especially liked is that this game more or less respects your time, which is annoyingly rare for any kind of indie games. Still some things are a bit strange, for example when hero doesn't want to break wall before conditions are met. What is it, complete lack of genre savvyness? Shouldn't it be obvious for any person by this time that he is just runned into big mystery and should break any suspicious fresh walls to find truth?

Really great, creative game. I really enjoyed the graphics, music, and overall atmosphere. The game is very self explanatory without having to hold your hand at the same time. My only complaint is the time it takes to get around the house.
What is this? A horror game that isn't "monster jumps out at you"?
I enjoyed this a lot, though I did have a bit of adventure game annoyance at things like a single use crowbar, knife, and hammer. The audio was very good. I would have liked more of a Monkey Island level of pixel detail personally (it ended up being really far too blocky in fullscreen) but it got the job done, and the use of color was quite good.
Wonderful minimalist controls. I would have preferred perhaps an option to walk a little faster (in a game that requires oh so much walking back and forth) but the ability to at least jump to a transition made it acceptable.
A lovely game with a lovely Hitchcock nod. I look forward to playing the next installment.

This is a very well thought out game! I love it and it's dark theme. I can't wait to play Chapter 2! But first I need to find out what to do with the crow...
