Reviews for "BackDoor- Door 1"

Great game, the item combinations actually made me think and it stumped me on more than one occasion. The humor was awesome and it reminded me of old SNES adventure RPGs like Earthbound. The style was great and fun and the guy on the phone was a greatly mysterious character. The newspapers were great, my favorite one being the "bar now open to humans". This game is awesome and I can't wait for the sequel!

The gameplay is very cool, but I'd suggest change the key-layout towards "ASD" instead of "ZXC", so that players without America keyboard layout can play better. Thanks.

Huh! I had no idea that the keyboard layout on English keyboards varied! (Obviously I know now, especially since I did a quick google search for keyboards.)

What I'll probably do then is map each action to two different keys (eg A/Z for action, S/X for action, etc). A large number of flash games still use that ZXC setup (and many people expect that set up), but it's definitely not a problem to just add extra bindings for those with keyboards where that setup doesn't work.

It´s good, I like it. But I don´t know I feel that somenthing is "missing". I´m wainting for Door 2 :).
PD: I liked the idea of writing on the paintings XDDD.

I liked the little jokes and silliness in the game. :) I found the players dialogue when clicking on things to be fun. I also liked the amount of things that could be clicked on. Most was not useful, but it's still great to have more to do. Great game, can't wait for door 2!

This game was refreshing not only in it's gameplay, but in the way you delivered the experience. The blend of quirky humour and an art-style very reminiscent of the Mother series were elements of the game I thought were almost as important as the gameplay itself! I found myself checking every item and looking for every combination just to see the commentary.

If I wanted to make a game, I would want it to be like this.

In all, it was outstanding. Many thanks for your hard work and dedication put into the project. It delivered very well. Can't wait for the next entry in the series!
