I absolutely loved the sound design in this! I think most flash games have a lot to learn from something like this... you did an amazing job with the simple tools flash provides. Art is incredibly solid too, as always. :)

I won't try to make much of an interpretation, but I really think it's fascinating how something like this can have great meaning to some and no meaning to others. Really says something about us as humans.

Thanks a lot, samulis :D

Amazing sound quality, excellent fluidity of each animation, and something to think about. My guess is that it's a comment on religion? My reasoning comes from the topics of each animation. The left-most animation features a deity, the center involves wishing, and the right-most is about death. In a sense, they're chronological- a blob finds belief in a deity to explain the change of season. Then, s/he/it comes down on hard times, so it tries to make wishes (or prayers, if you will). Once the blob has died, it discovers that the god it once believed in does not respond to its cries, and is left in a sort of purgatory. Or, you could have simply had these three topics in mind for the animation, and wanted your viewers to interpret the video freely.

DieterTheuns responds:

More or less the latter but your interpretation is pretty amazing :D

Thanks for this. I come here casually, and wow your creativity really brings a lot to this site. I haven't had a flash like that make me think for years, or perhaps ever. That was really fun, and I'm excited to see what else your brain brings to the table. Again, very creative, and very refreshing.

This is all speculation, but still...
1st animation: We are presented to the Slot Machine Titan, which seems to fluctuate in mood depending on how the slots come up... Bipolar Disorder will give you n^3 possible states of mind. Good luck! :-P
2nd animation: we are introduced again to the concept of luck, this time regarding whether your coin reaches the bottom of the well or not. Curiosity and not a small amount of greed gets our ectoplasmic friend in quite a pickle!
3rd animation: We seem to be drawn back to the Titan, which seems to be malfunctioning... Surrounded by what appears to be a boneyard, one of our curious friends bides its time, not wishing to push its luck... while another is pulled out of the frame by what I can only call Death... and Death always gets its due.
Anyway, just my two cents. ;-)

This is so sick!
