Reviews for "Zetabrand: Ember X Ebon"

Fun but completely rhythmless and fundamentally dull. There's no ebb and flow to the combat, and given that the fight could be cut up, rearranged and put back together without skipping a beat is indicative of how uninteresting a fight it is. Both characters take countless blows, only to get up and move with just as much speed and ease as they did from the start. You can have an attack sound big and look big, but if it's merely shrugged off by the opponent, it still feels weak.

If all you wanted to do was just showcase a bunch of random choreography with stick fighting animation, then it's good for a watch. It had a good flair, and given a complete lack of any environmental interaction it managed to be decently varied. However, if you were wanting to do a fight, than I'd suggest learning to limit the amount of times each character is actually hit and to animate a few extra frames to show some injury to the fighters.

Enjoyed the blast to the past though I found it rather boring, many stick fights have evolved to have either a comedic effect, or badass effects accompanied by just as badass music. While I enjoyed the concept of a old fashioned stick fight, I got bored and honestly stopped watching near the end. Truly while a nice concept, was boring, and with better graphics or something to draw the viewer in more it could have been alot beter. Good fight overall though.

ok i have a few things to say
1-way too fast pace, i do not remember a specific move at all to me it just semmed like 2 diferent colored stick figures doing epic move after epic move with such speed that none of the moves stuck
2- never let anybody tell you that slow-mo is bad or cliche or anything. Cause in reality it would have made your video way better and the best moves that much more memorable
3- zooming also would have helped specificelly for the wrestling type moves
4- arena and characters were extremelly bland:no background, one red one black, no context, no personality or specific move sets and if they were it was too fast to notice

only reason i did this comment is because it is still good but the potental for greatness was there yet not furfilled

after watching such animations for like 3 years , i can say one thing , too fast , not cool , ppl have to see mouves , shoots , slaps , here only sparklings , and basick kicks . I know its long and hard work , i respect it , but still .

I can respect and admire the amount of work going into this, it just didn't do anything for me. The genre is overdone for many years now and this doesn't differ much from most of what else is out there.

Good luck though, maybe i'm just not in your focus group.
