Reviews for "Dead Girl Strip Club"

Ach du xD
But I'm sure necrophiliacs will become horny by watching this though. :P

My eyes actually hurt from watching this.
Pretty good, but the music feels subliminal.

Aight caught up again, and ready to put down what I understand so far

(??? happens. Alfy is abused by "labby". Labby's treatment literally turns him into a b**ch.)

Alfred got dumped (almost literally) into the middle of nowhere (labby's tired of him)
obtains shitty advice from a drunknegromellon [unsure if the "playhouse" is in effect at this point]

(???? happens)

gets to a graveyard, playhouse is in effect
Alfy has already lost his innocence [possibly due to "labby"] , and the playhouse has changed to comfort Alfy in his new non-innocent state.
Before he can kill himself, the "playhouse" adapts to keep him alive.
He's about to f*** the stripper when he realizes something is wrong (he loses the 'hypnotism')
The playhouse starts collapsing inwards on itself upon the realization of the flaw, (just as a person new to lucid dreaming loses the dream upon realizing it's a dream)

Alfy comes to reality from the playhouse. The horror of his action sends him back in. Dict-Alf, Alfy's go to trauma suppressant personality, takes over.
Dict-Alf has a plan of somesort. Probably involving Labby (as Dict-Alf is about regaining control... and Alf was NOT in control when Labby was around)

hopefully I'm correct so far, and you'll fill them gaps

Now then actual Review tiem

You toned down the 'shock' a bit. Could tell there was more focus on Alf's struggle. From a playhouse perspective, the environment signals Alf's feelings/issues.

Dunno what was with the "lizard eyes" you put on Alf as he chugged... probably will be revealed later...

Still it's hard to judge on a story that's out of order. Impossible to judge a story that's still being told too, so lets move off that to animation

Granted, I have no animations, but I derp around in flash enough to see some of the stuff you're doing.
Some of your tweening is still iffy. I feel it's part of your style though...
You definitely cleaned up on perspective shifting (Alf's swivel around 3:17)
But I see places where it'd been cleaner/easier to have a a single movie clip object instead of the multiple parts tweening (picking up a glass for instance.)

Having a single "static" clip and just tweening it is lazy. I'm not saying you can't break down a person/object into parts and tween em. I'm saying even adding a little "action" to the object as it tweens could be used to make it fluid/"believable" (eg, the fingers on a hand moving just a little as the hand moves)

Of course, it appears you may know that, and that it's part of what you're attempting to do.
Then again, it might be laziness in an attempt to push your animation out faster.

If it's the latter don't. youcis pls.

If it's the former, you over rely on tweens to convey motion. If you consider it your style, refine it. If it's just something you've been doing to do motion, experiment with more frame by frame. Hell, "combine" the interacter and interacted into the same clip.

animation tl;dr: your artwork has improved. Your animation ability could use some more.

Sound... I'm gonna be honest, it's a mess. It's on purpose of course, but blargh my ears. Dunno why you chose it, feels like it doesn't fit right to me, but opinions are opinions. And it might fit when the rest of the puzzle falls into place... But it's still shit to me.

Distortion, like many things, can be overused. and you did that...

Why did I write so much? Cause I like this shit... also cause I'm really bored and procrastinating.
(would give 3 1/2 to motivate you on improving animation over getting it out fast, but adding a star to compensate for the "squeamish" ratings. Also opinions. And method to madness is my cup of tea.)

Deliciously disturbing.... Reminds me of hell a lil bit....

This is really something else. It was extremely well-made, the audio, despite being very...loud, was crisp. It was dark and morbid but brought to 'life' with some pretty bright colors.

I still have absolutely no idea if I even like this or not, but I can't deny how well made it is.
