Reviews for "Soldier"

prety nice

Eddde responds:

First of all this was made years before that game was released! And the flag, it is ALWAYS MIRRORED on US uniforms. There you go, you learned something new today :-P

Not a pencil Sketch...

Its good, but I don't know how you can call it a "pencil Sketch". First of all, there is color etc, and second, it has obviously seen photoshop. Also, I don't like how you've made it fade, just makes it look cheap in my opinion... : /

Eddde responds:

well that's your opinion, wich is useless since you haven't uploaded something decent yourself... the harshes critics are always those with an empty Newgrounds account. I find this rather pathetic

beautifully executed

But I just can't get my head around the actual execution, I can see a bit of pencil, photoshop colors and indian ink. I just cant tell how you did it exactly. Maybe a scanned drawing, the whites removed and colored?
Could I be enlightend?

A bit of criticism here, the right upper arm looks a bit too short, and unlogical for perspective.

Nice

The "DULL-TONES" of the colors all match the hardships, and devastation surrounding the life of a "SOLDIER", A pose containing a hung head and concealed eyes pertains to this message although many veterans and soldiers are passionate about their contributions to protecting their respective countries, the requirements are not peaceful nor easy, Darker color tones also provide shading, and exceptional detailing, The white borders help in preserving focus on the soldier without disrupting it.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
I dont see any changes needed on this piece its solid as is.

poe poe

Not very original, is it?
Try something new?

We dont need anymore american ''hero'' propoganda, now do we.

Eddde responds:

It's just a drawing... Maybe I should've drawn a terrorist instead, that might be more original? :P
