Normally I hate the the games made in the short time dares, but every once in a while you get a little gem like this. Good job and I hope you expand it into a full game, it has great potential above its current status.

z as fire is NOT intuitive, expecting multidirectional fire i tried using wasd while arrows to move... maybe consider that if you upgrade this.

I do agree about that. I thought about changing it half way through the competition but with such limited time I wouldn't have been able to redesign the levels to fit that scheme. If I'd just made it multidirectional the way it is, you would be able to beat it in seconds. ;)
Great Game,though does not shoot bullets upwards and downwards
This game got a treat few games got these days; A real challenge and it`s fun.
The music fits the style perfectly.
One thing just to give you something negative:
It was hard to see the hearts from time to time.

The game feels great, and that's what I'm rating here, but there are some serious bugs for which I could never win this, and that's something to worry about, I guess. Never mind the medals, the Continue button sends you to Level 1 after you refresh the page, and sometimes the gate keys just don't work, you touch 'em and they disappear but your inventory stays empty. I look forward to playing this when it's beatable.
