The popularity of this track really BOOMED in 2021. I think it had something to do with the "closing", er policy change, of Tumblr. This was when the hype for a Newgrounds comeback was at an all time high. I'm also sure that the release of FNF had something to do with it.
Why this track in particular? No idea. It's s remix after all. But I'm grateful that it's still getting love 17 years in. In fact, in 2021 it became my most listened to track ever, jumping ahead of my Sonic Spinball remix from 2009. Crazy how time changes things
Is it OK if I use this for my game Wingy Ship in the next update?
Response To Your Response: It's already up and was released last month, I just started working on the 1.5 update and it's going to have a lot of new features unlike any other update, and so I thought I would include it as the Hangout Music.
Edit: I take that back, I didn't make a Hangout Part for V1.5, yet it's already released.

Back when everything was Newgrounds themed no matter where you looked. It was real amazing to see how often that black and gold would show up.
I'm glad to see it making a huge comeback in recent years after many ups and downs over the past few decades. In a few years Newgrounds will be 30. That's insane! It makes me a proud Newgrounder to see it thriving for so long

I HAVE noticed its been getting far more attention lately than it was in the 00's. I actually really do wonder why that is, I wasn't THAT big back then, in fact it's just a remix anyway XD
