I appreciate that this is something you could call art, but maybe I'm just not that deep. I don't get it, at all. Kudos to those who do, I'm sure this is was a fine viewing for you guys. Personally, it was too non-descriptive for me to understand, and I don't care for dark, grotesque thing, so... I didn't care much for this.
loved the imagery and foudn footage style of direction, i dont find it at all like un chien andalou to reply to a comment here...that film was not grotesque at all and was an attempt in depiction of a dream state in a surrealist style with no story, as opposed to your work which is in itself grotesque but is used a device to alienate the viewer from the subject yet he is alienated from his own world by being bound, with the exception of the camera, or my interpretation, like others probably guessed before me, the window which we are looking through further creating this illusion of alienation and aversion, yet feeding our need for the taboo and shocking, as well as guiding the viewer with self perspective pre notions of the characters and story.
CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHAT IS THE MESSAGE OF THIS?
That was fucked up.... Disturbance for the sake of it, I'm not complaining, this is not your average horror film, the story is unreachable, that's why 1 star goes away.
