Reviews for "no-one has to die."

"Christina says: As if you would ever sacrifice yourself for ANYONE."

I recently played another game on site and wrote something along the lines of 'needs more story'. And here, I was pleasantly surprised, and thankful for the fantastic, chilling experience received.
I'm going to mention a spoiler that gets told before the first actual 'level', so be warned.

The gameplay is simple, yet brutal: in a series of clicks, determine who lives and who dies. What makes the game so brilliant, however, is how invested we become in the characters. In a short time, the character personalities are revealed, even before the first death, and every death reveals more and more about the characters, their lives, and a conspiracy slowly unraveling. To top it off is one of the most atmospheric, chilling tracks I've heard in a puzzle game in a long time.

The gameplay is super simple and easy to pick up, and although I have heard otherwise, that is not a bad thing. The simple gameplay allows for incredible immersion into the scenario, and when the player gets so immersed that they have to spend a few seconds determining not only how to proceed, but who to kill off to proceed.

To the creators, thank you for this incredible experience. And for gamers, make sure you play this with as few distractions as possible. A dark room, no interruptions...not the kind of game to enjoy at the office.

woah...

This game is awesome. Words can't describe. You get 5 stars and a favorite.

That story still has me baffled. Amazing where some time travel theories applied right can make an amazing plot. The game in its totality is 4kb and it has more effort put into it than its size would tell. Very good job with this game, it's a real masterpiece.

Very, very clever game. The actual gameplay was simple, but it really wasn't the primary focus... which is good, in this case! You really plunged the players into a such a twisting storyline to where the story/dialogue had to take precedence over most of the gameplay (which wasn't boring, either). You still had to think about how which person could be kept alive, and when to do what action with each turn. A very intelligent game. Epic job!
