Reviews for "Stonelegs 2"

For having legs made of stone, I sure do slide a lot. Pretty good game.

Enjoyed the first one quite a bit. This one lost me when, two levels in a row, the turn-to-stone function on the down arrow failed to crush the stones beneath me, leaving me resting on theoretically-breakable rocks without enough jumps to get to where I needed to be. Dropping this a 4 rating on faith that this was unintended and is likely to be fixed, and on the likely possibility that since the first one was so good this one is too--I just didn't get to it.

I remember playing the original Stonelegs and enjoying it. You've definitely expanded and improved on it. I liked how you introduced new elements and challenges with each area. I admit that I did find the controls a tad frustrating at times, especially when I would get snagged on a platform that I feel like I should have missed. It's a tricky thing to manage, because you want there to be some challenge. I wouldn't have wanted the game much easier, but obviously others would have preferred that. This isn't a game that lends itself to various difficulty levels, so you were bound to please some people and not others. The final boss/stage was a cool way to end things. I never did figure out how to earn that freaking Zero-Bomber and Addicted medal. Oh well. Keep making cool games!

Cool game!

While this game was obviously meant to be frustrating, it often reached the point for me where the failure of game mechanics (Button pressing, jumping just as you hit the ground, squeezing between two blocks, etc) became so frequent that I honestly hated the game. It was a fun game in the end when you reflect on it, but annoying as hell to play through (as I said though, still a good experience in retrospect).
On a side note, two things:
1: Isn't the background for the forest region the background in William and Sly? It looked just like it.
2: If at the end, if he throws his sword, can't he then not jump? I just imagine him standing there triumphantly and then being like "Shit, I can't move."
