Reviews for "Desert Defence 2"

Corporal rank doesn't come after Sgt.
Don't be stupid.

Game play was fairly smooth.
The upgrades were affective but not over powered. I would have liked to see more attack upgrades in the idea of rockets, backside guns, or adding more mines because of upgrades.
The enemy's were unimaginative at best and there seemed to be no rime or reason to what damage was done by what enemy.
Adding visual upgrades to the turret was unexpected and I actually liked that.
I personally think that thought the upgrades went side-by-side with the difficulty increase rate, I would have like to see the level span be longer before you max everything out.
Game was a cookie cutter of 1,000,000 other games but it was fairly well done.

3.5/5 (above average but needs finer detail work.)

The play field was way too small. The game play was unimaginative and boring. You left a huge badge of your website right on the play field. The graphics were basic but clean and the music is as boring as the game play is.

If you are looking for a time waster, sure this game shines as just that.

However, while I am here, why are the newer NG game makers using cookie cutter scripts and making crap like this, as if they did something great? Take a note from a real pro, like Mike Swain here and do something on that level. And you just might have a taste of bragging rights.

This was an alright game, though it felt very repetitive really quickly.
There's never an indication of how much an upgrade does, or how strong enemies are, and you're mostly just trying to hit every enemy before they manage to hit your turret.

If you feel a round, you still keep the money, allowing you to just grind to completion.

It was fun to play, but only for a very short while as it was the same thing over and over, the variation comes from the enemies, but beyond the range and damage they do, not at all interesting after a while.

nice game challenging but not too much

This game was actually pretty fantastic. I clicked on it expecting a tower defense game, but it was more literal than I expected-- I'm literally defending my tower. So overall, the gameplay was very good. The upgrades were always noticeable but never too significant, the gradual difficulty progression went fairly smoothly (though on some levels it seemed nonsensical-- the level after a certain wave would be easier than the last somehow), and there are plenty of things you can get to make your tower awesome. Though I feel that I kind of have to nitpick about hardcore mode. When a mode called "Hardcore mode" is easier than the normal game itself, it just feels confusing. This is supposed to be the hardest thing in the game, but I'm mowing down the enemies in that mode easier than I am in the actual main part of the game. I think it's due to the spamming of every enemy in the game, but that just makes it a lot easier. I feel like in hardcore mode, especially if it comes after you've beaten the normal game itself, should focus mostly on the strongest enemies. But really that's my only complaint with the game, it plays smooth and was tons of fun.
