Reviews for "Resort Empire"

Nice.

this game is epic! the only thing i found lacking was the option to move your rooms and facilities... :)

nice game! 5 bintang deh buat ente gan,

It's pretty amazing seeing this concept taken to Flash. I've played plenty of regular game Tycoons with theme parks, restaurants, hospitals, you name it, but the same thing in Flash?! That's a step in the right direction. It's obviously not as thorough as console counterparts, but there seems to be an impressive amount of gameplay packed in the package all the same. I like the crisp pixel graphics and there are plenty to chose from. The ambient music fits in, the goals are clear, and all facets of the business are managed. Nice work!

Very well done! I do think that there are logistical issues: the speed at which experience and RP accumulate is very slow relative to everything else. This often results in missions "stacking" by which I mean that you will have to wait for days for a mission to be completed (e.g. get a level 3 lodge) and then be able to complete the next five missions automatically. In the game I played, I filled up all of the available space with buildings and then...waited...for a prolonged period of time (by which I mean an hour) for the RP to sloooowly accumulate to the next level. In the meantime, there is nothing for the player to actually do but stare. I just opened another window and let it run automatically while I did something else online. Allowing for faster time progression would help, but what i would really suggest would be making it so that building experience and RP accumulate quicker because as it stands now they do not increase at the same rate as money or popularity.

That being said, this is a very good job! I like the graphics, the buildings make sense, and I have not noticed any bugs. It is a simple game, but relaxing. The lack of different maps or scenarios limits replay value, but it was well worth playing.
