Definitely reminiscent of Knytt and Knytt Stories art-wise. Gameplay mechanic-wise, not so much. Too frustratingly difficult at times. The robot is a little slippery to control. Flying around, it goes to far left/right. I gave up at the second checkpoint area in the spike cave, after getting the steam jetpack, crossing the river, etc. It's the point where you have to fly and jump and wall climb before running out of steam...literally.
4.5 for the art, 3 for mechanics, 3.5 overall
The game felt a lot like Knytt Stories (not that I'm saying it's a copycat, and it's also not a bad thing). The same peculiarity, the same casual screen switching, the same checkpoint system... picking up the jump ability also gave me a flash back. At least, to me.
Of course this is does not mean anything bad at all. In fact, I admire this game for being what it is, but the fact I felt some Knytt Stories in it made me like it even better for taking me back a bit. Very nice overall.

You could have five stars from me if there were less spikes. The parts with Jetpack made me giving up. Also when you change direction, it glides backwards. That's annoying when there are spikes and water just near at the next room.
I like the design, but it's not original. Black silhouette is very common, for instance Limbo.
Starting the game: "Ooh, nice graphics, I like the style. Looks like a cute casual platformer, should pass the time pretty well."
A little later: "Well this is getting harder..."
Later still: "FFFFUUUUUUUUUU--"
Interesting little platformer, loved the graphics style, I like it a lot. Just a little surprised that it got to Super Meat Boy level difficulty near the end.
