Reviews for "Bon Appetit "

Incredible animation, great character design. Loved the cartoon.
And uh, not the be "that guy", but no one noticed the suction on that Cherry in the beginning? Talkin' golf ball through garden hose.

Looking forward to more!

Excellent animation !

Blanchon: you do have some impressive knowledge of the French language, but it seems very theoric.
Crême glacée is indeed what we could see written on small mobile shops back in the time. Even if Ice cream was indeed more or less invented in France, it was the Americans who made it accesible to everyone (and a few hundred years later). That's why for a very long time we saw Crême glacée which is the litteral translation of Ice cream. You are correct than the most usual term used now is Glace (which is also incorrect btw, since Glace necessarily contains eggs and thus doesn't include Sorbets ( and I don't know the word in English, sorry) )

Métro has no accent on metro panels in Paris in general. Except when it's written Métroppolitain.

Un Café is both the coffee you drink and the place where you drink it. Their is actually a distinction between Café, Bar and Brasserie but the difference is very complicated to explain. Theorerically, if you go to the brasserie, it's to drink beer or have lunch. If you go the bar, it's to get a glass of alcohol. If you go the bar, it's to get a soft drink.
It gets complicated though, since every café, bar and brasserie serve every beverage. Brasserie is still far away from the others, but Bar and Café is basically the exact same thing... except when it's not.
Bar has a negative connotation in some cases. While café has a very distinguished connotation in some cases. When someone go back home at 2 AM being drunk, people are going to say : "Il a passé son temps au bar" and never "au café". If you are in Paris rue de Rivoli and ask for direction for "Le bar Chez Angelina", people are going to raise an eyebrow.
Again, you deserve to be praised for your knowledge, but it sounds theoric to me.

At least we can agree that the animation is beautiful !

Is the moral of the story to not go in monster belly's, or to be a better parent?

Very cute!
Not to disagree with blanchon, but...

Ailleurs dans la francophonie, quand on n'appelle pas ça de la crême glacée, on parle simplement d'un cornet. Le monde est vaste, copain!
