Great animation, and yes it was a slice of life kind of joke. But the joke no longer has to be on you, my friend, I am here to save you from your frustration! Read, and follow these instructions to never have to deal with this horrible thing ever again:
To stop this, relax while pee'ing. DO NOT use your pelvic muscles while pee'ing AT ALL (takes a little bit of practice). After you're done ("you're done" meaning the flow has stopped while you're relaxing) you take your fingers, put them on the skin between your anus and testicles, push up, out will come more pee, then from base of your penis to the tip squeeze out the rest.
Using your pelvic muscles (the muscles which speed up or stop the flow) at anytime during the process seems to make pee just get stuck in limbo for a while, to leak annoyingly out at a later time.
I used to get frustrated by this too, got sick of it, google helped me find the solution to my problem. Been happier and have had urine free underwear ever since.
