Reviews for "Elf Story"

I want to give this a good grade, I really do, the graphics are fine and the moves are damn fun to play with, but there's a lot of bugs in the game. For instance, 2-3 times I played I got to the Ogre, but in the middle of the fight everything just freezes and I can't click anything.

Interesting (and punishing) game mechanism. Amusing character design, and a good selection of kill methods to spice things up. Music is pretty good too: repetitive (like almost all flash games) but varied enough not to be boring. And of course, the animation is great. It's obvious that a lot of work went into this game.

Would recommend adding an in-game intro and outro, but they don't have to be fully animated. Still-frames would do just fine.

Five out of five. This is made of awesome

Excellent!
I've played many games like this, but this has an RPG element in it.
The characters are nicely detailed and the attack combos look great.
The silly ways to die have a very "Stealing the diamond" feel.
And thanks a lot for the incredible amount of medals - the descriptions were funny too.

The first time I played the ogre scene, it attacked at the same time I did and then we were stuck. The ogre didn't attack further and I couldn't attack back.
Also, if you click repeatedly at the face, he just crouches for a jump that many times. Please fix that.
And you really should have a pause menu, which will take you back to the main menu. After starting my second game, I realized I didn't have the knife after I got the bat and I had to play all the way to the Gobblo to die and restart. Please add a pause menu.

Other than that I have no complaints. It was pretty short so I'll expect a longer continuation with even more weapons and awesome combos.
Cheers!

Bloody. Gorey. Short. A pretty perfect game.
The only thing that irks me is that you can't choose a scene so getting a different achievement is easier after you've beaten the game once or a chance to replay the scene again after killing the enemy. Not too keen on going through the entire scene to get to a certain part of the game just to try a different way to grab a new achievement.
Love the animation and the artwork. They flow quite well. Especially liking Link's voice and move sets.
